NOMEX® Lightweight FR Hood 18"

The 18-inch length is perfect for tucking securely into my collar, and the Nomex material breathes way better than my old balaclava during long training sessions. Stitched seams held up fine after a rough wash cycle, so it’s clearly built for real use.

Wore this under my helmet during a four-hour training exercise and forgot it was even on until the end. The 18-inch length covers the neck completely without bunching up, and the NOMEX fabric has held up through multiple washes without shrinking or fraying.

The fabric is surprisingly breathable for how tough it is, and the 18-inch length covers my neck completely during training. It fits snug under my helmet without bunching up, and I like that it didn't get too hot after an hour of drills.
